When the boyfriend leaves a relationship, they usually cut themselves from their ex completely. They don’t usually get in contact at all… sometimes that can be a good thing, but the majority of the time it’s bad. If you haven’t heard from your ex since the breakup, he’s probably looking to move on. But if you’ve been communication, then that’s an indication that you still have a shot. Even if the communication is negative… It means your ex is still thinking about you, since they’re getting in touch.
It’s all in the communication. If he’s contacting you by phone every few days, he still cares and he’s trying to show it. If he’s asking you how you’re feeling, then it’s a great indication that YOU still have a shot.
So if you’ve established you have a chance…you want to consider why the relationship came to a halt… if he’s still communicating, then I’m assuming nothing really bad happened. Maybe he got fed up with the relationship routine. Because of the routine, you may have been acting differently and maybe that’s what drove him away. Think about a time to when you both were super happy, what was it that he liked about you? Become that person.
